Excellent analogy Elio. However, if you believe in possibility of existence beyond birth and deathā€Šā€” then you gradually learn to stop giving unnecessary importance to fear of death ā€œmother of all fearsā€. Then death is nothing but a portal through which you get an opportunity to come back to life and do what you were supposed to do. And in the process outgrowing your survival attitudeā€Šā€” a prerequisite to thrive beyond your perceived limitations. I guess the only glitch here is that we donā€™t remember anything about our past journeyā€Šā€” hence more susceptible to repeat many of our earlier mistakes.
